According to Beeztrap KOTM, Kumasi has generated more artists than any other city.

Beeztrap KOTM, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards’ (TGMA) New Artiste of the Year, has declared Kumasi to be Ghana’s leading center for musical talent.

The “Fly Girl” hitmaker talked about which Ghanaian city has produced the most outstanding individuals in an interview with Nana Romeo. Beeztrap maintained that Kumasi is the top hub for musical talent, despite some people arguing for Tema and Accra.

He underlined that from the past generation of well-known musicians to the current generation of artists, Kumasi has always been at the center of Ghana’s musical ability.

According to Beeztrap KOTM, “if we look back in time, it was Kumasi during Daddy Lumba’s time, Sarkodie’s time, and Okyeame Kwame’s time.”

He claims that the current trend in the music industry is still Kumasi at the top, particularly in light of the Asakaa movement’s and other artists’ ascent.

“All of the boys are in Kumasi right now, and the music is there as well. We have King Paluta, Amerado, Strongman, Asakaa, Oseikrom Sikani, and many more,” he remarked.

“If we are being honest,” Beeztrap continued, “Kumasi has produced more artistes than any other region.”
